Nomu fonds, can you freeze them?

Hi there,

The Nomu fonds are typically best before 4 weeks after opening.
Can you freeze them in something like an ice tray if you haven't used all of it before it starts turning?

Thanks

Peter

Hi Peter

We've chatted to our friends at NoMU and although it hasn't been tested just yet, they believe that freezing the fond should work. The salt content is quite high, which may mean that it won’t freeze completely, but it should be fine.

Hope this helps, please report back!

Take care
Angela

Thanks Angela,

I still have some time left before it is indeed best before but pretty sure I am not going to get through it all.
Will give it a try and let you know the results.

Thanks again

Peter
