Chocolate mousse filling for a cake

Hi,

Your chocolate mousse recipe, is it firm enough to use to fill a chocolate mousse cake?

Hi Karen

We haven't tried this recipe as a filling, it may lack the stability to hold up a second layer of cake. Perhaps try a recipe that uses double thick cream instead of the usual whipping cream - it may give the mousse the extra hold that is needed for the cake.
