It's been surprising difficult to replace my Y shaped potato peeler. I've bought quite a few and then within days either passed then on or just thrown them away - they've frustrated me that much. After buying some Wusthof knives that I absolutely love, I decided to try their peeler too. Jackpot! Sharp, easy to handle, makes peeling in my kitchen a more pleasant task again.

Possibly the worst peeler I have ever had it takes chunks out rather than slivers of whatever I used it for. Yuppiechef I recommend you remove it from your list especially as I had to wait for it.

Disappointed with this purchase as the angle of blade seems to snag and not glide smoothly and takes more of the skin or peel than I expected.
