Come-Apart Kitchen Shears, Boxed

This was a brilliant pair of kitchen scissors... until they come-apart. Functionality wore down to such a point that they completely split in two and there was no getting them back together. They also come apart at very inconvenient times when you don't mean for them to. Completely impractical and definitely a letdown from Wusthof.

I would not recommend this product to a friend.

There's sharp. There's super sharp. Then there's Wusthof sharp. It's such a pleasure to own a pair of shears that cut first time every time. No hacking and tearing. An ingenious mechanical clasp for easy separation allowing thorough and hygienic cleaning. Hopefully this will stand the test of time.

When they state life time guarantee they mean it. My original pair's handle came apart and this was replaced even though I owned the pair for over a year before claiming for a replacement.
Not only did they replace the shears but they also collected the old pair and delivered the new pair without any cost to myself.

I have owned these shears for a few years now. I use them daily for cutting chives, carving chicken, and all other kitchen needs. I can't rave about them enough.

They still look brand new and the fact you can toss them in the dishwasher and they clean perfectly due to coming apart is even better.

These scissors are fabulously sharp and comfortable to hold.

But - they fall apart almost as soon as one begins using them. I have had mine for a few years now - and have hardly ever used them - I keep trying in hope of finding the trick to keeping them together - but fail.
