This three piece knife set by Wusthof is the perfect starter set for hobby cooks. Good quality, long lasting and comfortable to use, these Gourmet series knives will take your food prep to new levels.
- Each knife is laser cut from a single piece of steel for maximum strength, balance and heft
- This specialised high-carbon, stain resistant alloy ensures that the cutting edge of the knife is razor sharp and also easy to resharpen
- A computer controlled grinding and polishing of the blade also ensures there is perfect tapering from bolster to tip
- The knife is beautifully sandwiched by a synthetic, ergonomic handle that's been triple riveted for durability yet still retains its stylish looks and smoothness

Care instructions

Dishwasher Instructions

Although some Wüsthof products are dishwasher safe, we do not recommend that your knives and scissors be put in the dishwasher. Blades can knock together, damaging them, and if not washed soon after use, corrosive food particles can damage the blade. Rather wash your knives as soon as possible after each use with warm water and a little detergent, rinse carefully and dry with a towel.

Knife Sharpening

All knives require regular sharpening. Wüsthof manufactures sharpening options that suit all of their knives, including whetstones, honing steels and pull-through sharpeners. See the sharpening range here.

Knife Storage

Warranty info

Wüsthof knives have a 10-year warranty and will be repaired or replaced after thorough inspection if there are any defects in workmanship or materials. This warranty assumes proper care, maintenance and intended use of the knives.

I was so impressed using the Wusthof knives the first time. They are very comfortable in your hand and doesn't get heavy after you've been slicing vegetables for a while. They are extremely sharp so you don't need to apply a huge amount of pressure while using them. I find that all the essentials are included in this set and its most definitely a great starter. These knives are razor sharp and an excellent buy. Much lighter than what I had expected them to be - and the logo imprint on it looks a bit cheap.

Just know this set is not the Classic range and so a very different quality.

Very basic.

I made the mistake thinking this was a classic set but I was wrong.

I would prefer to purchase the individual classic range that are awesome quality.
