Long Slot 4-Slice Toaster, 1400W

I have seldom been as impressed with a product as I have been with this toaster. I bought it about a year ago [yes, clearly not the usual fanboy reaction] and it is incredible. The thought and care that have gone into the design of its features is incredible. Love the quality (feels like my Miele products) and price is amazing... I highly recommend this toaster! It’s a beautiful toaster and I personally love a 4 slice toaster with the long slots for the wider breads like stone bread. I find that regular bread doesn’t quite go down deep enough inside the toaster to get a full browning... like 3cm or so of the bread doesn’t get toasted and doesn’t get the crisp that the rest of the slice gets. I would have loved a deeper take in of the bread. I’m also struggling to find my right setting... level 5 burns the toast and level 4, is not brown enough. I’m toasting on level 3 twice at the moment... not really ideal. But this is a personal preference issue I suppose. The pop up bread roll rack is taking some getting used to, it gets crazy hot and has burnt me twice already. It’s a lovely looking toaster otherwise and my 9 yr old toast loving son whom I bought this for to replace our previous one that broke loves it, and he happily uses it almost everyday. Read more

I have limited space and could only fit a long slot toaster, but my family's needs required it to be 4 slots. After trying a couple, we have finally found the one meeting all our requirements and doing an excellent job of toasting, defrosting slices of bread, etc. Very relieved and very happy!

I like the long slots as so many loaves of bread have slices that are too big for the regular two slot toaster. I like having the dial in the front in order to change the settings for different types of bread. Being able to reheat toast or toast from frozen are both essential functions. This is a quality toaster at an affordable price. Read more

Well, it toasts! What more do you need? In a family of 5 of which 3 are studying and consume prodigious amounts of toast, it is a winner!
