How to get the best out of your electric blanket:
- Cover it with a duvet or blanket to feel the warmth effectively (it might feel like it is not working if it is not covered)
- It takes approximately 20 minutes to heat up, depending on how cold the room is
- The control must show an orange light to confirm the power is on
- The control should be used on level 3 to preheat the bed as per the manual — anything lower may seem like the bed is not warming up
- Levels 1 and 2 are used to keep the blanket on for longer — the blanket should not be left on level 3 for the entire night
- Don't leave anything large or heavy on top of the duvet while the electric blanket is on — it could cause the safety fail safe fuse to blow
- Blanket will arrive with the controls already connected correctly — these are removed during washing and then need to be reconnected by clipped them in

Care instructions
Storage:
- During summer, you can keep the electric blanket on the bed as a mattress topper
- Otherwise, it should be rolled and stored away or folded and packed away carefully ensuring nothing is placed on top of the folded or rolled blanket — this could cause kinks in the electric wires and faults when used next
- There is a fail-safe in each control switch. Should anything like a kink cause an issue, the fuse will blow as a safety precaution and stop the blanket from working

The product is washable which is a big plus for me! The temperature heats up quickly on turbo setting and on turning down for the night time has two very comfortable settings to choose from. I like this because I don't have to wake up during the night to find the switch to turn it on again when room temperature drops. The temperature settings are just right.

The blanket was switched off at temp control. Yet still sparked at the bottom of the blanket! Thank goodness this happened when I was home. Now that side of the blanket does not work now! Yuppiechef was fantastic and responded within a few minutes to recollect this item. This was my 20th order from Yuppiechef and felt a bit disappointed as their products are usually the best quality.

Over the years I have had a number of electric blankets but this one is the best by far. I love the full size and the cotton quilted cover. There are no ridges on the sides and the plug extensions fit under the pillows so no discomfort. The bed is quickly heated and temperature adjustments are easy. I am very happy with this purchase.

First time we've bought one and what a bonus during this Cape winter! Super-comfortable cotton under our normal fitted sheet, very low electricity consumption. Even after just an hour on its lowest setting we have an irresistibly warm bed to enjoy. Happiness is.

The 100% cotton makes a huge difference. I always found the synthetic "sheepskin" makes one too hot. Only problem is that we have an extra length queen size mattress and the blanket is only queen sized, so does not fit quite as well as I would like it to. However, the quality is excellent and there is nothing like climbing into a warm bed!

My husband thinks it’s wonderful, but I find it lukewarm on the hottest, turbo setting with a pre-warm of one hour. I would describe it as pleasantly warm and once you're in bed the heat dissipates fast.

Fits the whole bed with no short edges, and doesn't move around due to the fitted sheet design.

The settings are perfect, and you could sleep with it on one if you prefer to do so.

Pre-warming is the best, and setting two is great for a warm bed while setting three is wonderful if you are cold and want to warm up too.
