Egg Poacher

The poacher does not hold 'Jumbo' size eggs and is, therefore, not as useful as other poachers that I use. I also cannot understand why it is not designed to take 4 eggs. Generally, the reviews have been good, so I thought I was buying something 'better than usual', but this is not the case. If this were our only poacher, my wife and I would have to decide who gets only one egg! Not a good idea. I have bought numerous items from Yuppiechef over the years (and will continue to do so) and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I will give it to one of my daughters who can argue with her husband over who gets only one egg! Read more

It's a great item and poaches eggs perfectly, the non-stick works like a charm. But, the legs are flimsy, one bent the first time we washed the poacher. Luckily we were able to straighten it without it breaking. Also, the cups are not huge so you cannot use jumbo eggs as they can overflow. So, treat it carefully and use regular eggs, and it's a 5 out of 5.

Not bad, however it is a little difficult to clean with the egg white sticking to the egg poacher.

I’m not crazy about this product. It’s too shallow, half the eggs leak out. It’s ok, but I think there are better poachers out there.

As per above will be phoning you to return - have purchased quite a bit from Yuppiechef and this was the only product that certainly did not have any impact except a negative one.

Works perfectly well.
The only downside is you only get 3 eggs at a time so not suitable for more than 2 people. Now my boyfriend gets 2 and I get 1 for breakfast.
Still easier than trying to poach an egg in water!

Was not non-stick, egg stuck everywhere, didn't cook egg properly and was the biggest mission to clean. I gave the product a second, third even fourth chance and every time it turned out disastrous.

This egg poacher has a coating that does the opposite of non-stick. Not only do the eggs stick to the pan and have to be scooped out, but it is really difficult to clean, requiring hard scrubbing.
