These revolutionary Egg Poaching Bags from Poachies help you to make proper, water-immersed poached eggs without the mess and struggle so you can avoid unpredictable and inconsistent results. Poachies does the work for you. The Poaching Bags create a little pocket where the egg is kept together and water comes into contact with the raw egg, without it leaking into the water. After a few minutes, your perfectly poached egg slides out easily onto your toast or rosti. Proper water poached eggs — no vinegar, no swirling.

- Place your egg in the poachie bag and after a few minutes, slide out your perfectly poached egg
- No need for oil, butter, vinegar or swirling

How to use Poachies:
1. Boil 3/4 full saucepan of water, then turn down to a low boil so the water is gently bubbling. Open a Poachie and place into a glass. Crack an egg into the Poachie.
2. Immediately lift the Poachie out of the glass, pulling the top together and lower gently into the bubbling water. The Poachie closes as it sinks into the water, keeping the egg inside the bag. Add more Poachies as required, cracking eggs and immersing one at a time.
3. Poach for 4-5 minutes depending on size and temperature of eggs (some foam is normal). Remove each Poachie with tongs or a slotted spoon. Place on paper towel. Allow to cool slightly.
4. Grip the Poachie by the bottom seam, Shake firmly but gently. Your perfectly poached egg will slide out easily.
5. If the egg does not slide out easily, it is not quite ready. Re-immerse for 20-30 seconds.

- When using eggs several days old, slight leakage may occur in the glass

Poached eggs are my favourite so I try and eat them whenever we go out for breakfast BECAUSE I have never been successful at making them at home - I have bought all the gadgets, watch all the you tube videos but alas - it is was a failure - Until this - yes I bought another "gadget" and decided to have another go! I had my own successful poached eggs for breakfast! Try them - they really work!

I never thought poaching eggs would be this easy! The poaching bags are foolproof. The eggs are poached perfectly and it's quick too. I like soft eggs and 4 minutes was the perfect time. All the eggs were consistently poached too.

I usually poach eggs traditionally with boiling water and vinegar but this makes it so much easier because I put them all in the same time and they get ready at the same time!!!!
Bonus: the kitchen doesn't smell like vinegar anymore after making my eggs Benedict on Sunday brunch...

I ❤️ Poached eggs. This is the answer to perfect eggs.
The only work is to get a pot and boil water.
The instructions are spot on. I use my Yuppiechef tongs, leave the eggs for 4 to 5 mins, slide onto toast and you are done.
Biodegradable bags, no cleaning up. What more can you ask for?
One of the very best new products on the list of Yuppiechef.

Works well. You have to work very quickly once you add the egg to the bag (so it doesn't start seeping through) so you just have to make sure that your water is at the correct temperature before you start. I don't let the whole bag slide into water so I hold the top out off the water with tongs until the white is mostly set.

I find that on cracking the egg into the poachy bag, some of the egg white starts leaking out straightaway. Not much egg white left after cooking. Mixed feelings.

They are disposable.

Each poachy costs the same, if not more, as each egg you eat! So, you are eating eggs at twice the price. You can't just wash and reuse.

We'll be going back to plastic egg poachers.

Whilst I love poached eggs, I am always put off making them at home due to the swirling spiral mess of the egg white every time I do.

However, since I have discovered these, there is no turning back! Perfect poached eggs every time.

If you follow the instructions as to what to do, your poached eggs come out exactly how you would like them.

Once placed in the boiling water the egg seemed to sit in a very awkward position. It comes out as a very weird shape — like an eye, pointy at both ends from the bag. Not recommended if you want the traditional poached egg look. Disappointing to say the least.
