It is small enough to store easily or keep in the fridge with your freshly rinsed leaves inside. It is big enough to get the job done but also not too big for those little items like herbs.

I bought this after using my daughter-in-law's regular size one and was converted! I only need the smaller version which I bought. The spinner mechanism is so much easier than the diy type and the stop button really works.
Very happy with my purchase.
