The Marcato Atlas 150 can make the following three pasta styles:

I got this as a Christmas present and it is fantastic! I was skeptical at first as the one that I used to have (a different brand) did not work nicely and the dough kept getting stuck in the machine, therefore I never used it. But this machine works beautifully and now I make pasta often. Can't go wrong with this purchase!

A hard-working, well-constructed pasta machine that has revolutionised my kitchen. No more store-bought pasta for me!
The sum total of 1 egg to 100g flour (scaled as needed) and this machine have been the catalyst to some incredible culinary masterpieces. I would also like to try it out for fondant work, but haven't got around to that yet.

You Get What You Pay For

The old adage is true. You get what you pay for. This pasta machine is robust, elegant and incredibly well built. Its design is well thought out and it is definitely going to last a long time.
Really worth the money if you want to be making pasta for many years to come.

Great product, solidly built and available in beautiful colours (mine is a shiny cherry-red). What I like most of all is the removable roller combs making cleaning much much easier. I've bought cheaper machines before that either didn't work properly or broke after a few uses... this Marcato Atlas 150 is definitely worth investing in.

I purchased the pasta machine for my husband's birthday and he absolutely loved it. We made our own pasta for the first time and it was soooooo delicious. I don't think I will ever buy store pasta again. The machine comes with easy to follow recipes and is quick to clean and maintain. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants to make fresh pasta! Now we have to buy all the accessories... next on the list is home-made ravioli! Read more

This pasta machine works even better than expected. The instruction manual provided with the machine provides the basic info and recipes needed to get started. I have only had this machine for about 2 weeks and have made pasta 4 times. The machine hasn't got stuck even once and one starts becoming quite quick after around the second time. The last time I made, I was able to get a small batch out in about 10 minutes. Even though the product is fairly expensive compared to some cheaper brands, I would definitely recommend waiting/saving and spending the extra on the Marcato, which makes pasta making a pleasure. I have had pasta machines before ( my last one broke). This is machine better made than my previous ones. The noodle-spaghetti cutters are great and cut the pasta evenly and completely. I also like that the product is uniform over batches.

Amazing little machine. Don't be put off by the colour in terms of fingerprints and keeping it clean (I was sceptical)- easy to wipe and keep clean. Works like a charm. Easy to use. NO regrets. Worth every cent

I'm very happy with this little machine. Easy to use, clean and setup. It's well built and sturdy. I didn't want to spend thousands on something we might not use all that often...so I was a bit concerned that I might by buying something "cheap" at R1099. Received this as a gift. It is incredibly fun and so rewarding, and it only takes 10-20 minutes to prepare the pasta dough. We made lovely fresh tagliatelle — the only thing I need to do now is improve my sauce game! Would recommend for anyone who loves pasta. Easily makes enough to serve 6 in about an hour of prep time (excluding cooking sauces etc).

This is a quality compact machine which is solidly built and works like a dream! It was easy to use even for a complete beginner like myself, although smaller in size than I had anticipated. Love this machine. I can definitely feel the quality is better than the local shops where I have purchased a pasta machine before. Only 1 little problem... the wing nut broke off under the clamp that holds the machine down.

I bought this to replace my old pasta machine, and am impressed. The 10 thickness settings offer a wider range of choice if you're making pasta for ravioli vs spaghetti.
The mechanism is very smooth and overall the experience makes the process a lot of fun :)
(Goes well with a cappuccino cocoa shaker, to dust the sheets with flour as you are rolling out the pasta)

Absolutely no complaints! Super easy to use and good for beginners or someone looking for an upgrade.
I have used these in professional kitchens as well and if you look after them they will serve you well!
Make sure to have a counter that has enough space for the clamp to fit on and then space for the tightener to twist 'cause that's, of course, very important!

After researching pasta machines for months - and reading endless reviews - I finally settled on the Atlas 150, and it has surpassed all my expectations.
It is very sturdy and easy to operate - the clamp secures it well and the handle action is smooth and light. Cleaning up with a soft brush takes no time at all.
I'm having the best time experimenting with different recipes and methods for pasta. If you're new to fresh pasta, I would definitely check out Helen Rennie's channel on YouTube - There are some great tips there.

Unfortunately our first pasta machine gears started giving problems after just a few times used. It was replaced with a new machine by Yuppiechef.
We have only used the new one two or three times, but from the start the dough pulls to one side as if the wheels are not aligned well.
I would not recommend this product to a friend.
