The bowl was not quite the same quality as I had expected. I thought it had a non-slip outer surface, as I have seen in shops.

I absolutely love this bowl. I bought it to use it in place of the double boiler and have not stopped using it. I use it for mixed salad or fruit salad as it is the perfect size for 2 people. It is also wonderful to make a pancake dough. I had the same problem as other people with the label on the side but it does not really bother me.

I am very happy with my purchase. I would only recommend not using those sticky glue stickers on the stainless steel bowls!! That is really a big problem to remove :-(

These stainless steel bowls are very handy, I bought every size. The larger one I bought 2 - this is a very handy size to have in your kitchen. It's fantastic when I want to make double quantities for my daughters - they get equal amounts now. The satin finish on the outside makes it look very attractive. I also feel working with the stainless is far more hygienic. When your are finished, pop it into the dishwasher and that's it, put back in the cupboard. A great buy for me. Read more

I accidentally bought two of these... and I’m not mad about it!

These bowls are a great size for a mixing bowl, and fit perfectly on top of my pot for using as a bain marie/double boiler. So far, I’ve used it to mix brownie batter, and to cook carbonara sauce in.

Whatever issues there used to be with the stickers as per older reviews has definitely been fixed as I had no issue getting the sticker off.

I would suggest not using metal implements with this bowl as it seems likely to get damaged. I’ve only used silicone kitchen tools and they still look perfect. Read more

Firstly, it is good to look at and very light to use. It's a gorgeous size, fitting beautifully in the fridge when I have to put it aside to do something else.

I have a good feeling about this - that it would last me a lifetime, still looking as beautiful as ever.

I bought this bowl in 2019 November (too ⏰ I know).
However, I noticed a small crack in it the last few times I’ve used it. I LOVE THE BOWL… use it for making my biscuits and nothing else. I’ve washed it carefully and can’t understand why it’s cracked! After only 1 & 1/2 years!
It’s cracking all the way around the top outer edge!
I just think charging nearly 400 rand is pretty hectic! I saw one almost exactly the same at another retailer for R49!
It’s still in perfect condition! I bought it at the same time! Read more
