If you do not have a knife sharpener, this tool is a must. Easy to use. But with knives, always be careful when handling them on the tool.

I own Japanese knives and was very scared at first to try it myself, but if sharpen it at the right angle then your knives will stay sharp forever

It's great and sharpens really well. Just follow the instructions properly and it will leave you with a super sharp knife. There also instructions on youtube which help too.

This is a very confusing stone. Both sides feel the same to me. The writing on the side is not in English, Google Translate went on strike. Trying to find which side is which is a mission. I finally found enough evidence to suggest which is the rough side. I marked it with a Sharpie (board marker). I hope I'm right. My knives are sharp though. Shap.
