The name, "Inverroche," is an amalgam of the Gaelic word 'Inver'—meaning the convergence of waters—and 'Roche', the French word for rock. It's a celebration of the founder's roots and the unique, fynbos setting of the distillery—the meeting of water and rock.
Fynbos is the major type of vegetation from the Cape Floral Kingdom—a very small botanical region at the tip of South Africa. Inverroche infuses their small batch gins with these rare botanicals which grow nowhere else on the planet.
