Pot Sealing Ring, 6L

The Instant Pot is an exceptional appliance. The only downside is that the silicone sealing ring is prone to absorbing and retaining the smell of soups and stews etc. It is essential to procure a second ring for the usage in making puddings, yogurt etc.

As meat from broth etc can make the plastic ring smell, please invest in another one for just desserts etc.

I bought a second sealing ring as the silicone does retain savoury flavours - my yogurt came out smelling like stew!
I'd recommend having one for savoury dishes and a second for sweet/non-savoury.

We love our Instant Pot and use it 5+ times per week.

We've found that the sealing ring needs to be replaced every ~18-24 months. These replacement rings are sturdy and effective.
