Care instructions
‐ Collapse this SectionAfter every use:
- All accessories are dishwasher safe, however the machine does have a self-clean option as well
- Simply add 2-3 cm of boiling water to the non-stick pot along with some dishwashing liquid and run the machine for 15 - 20 mins at full temperature
- Empty the water and give the pot and inside of the lid a wipe with a damp cloth
Occasional deep clean:
- After a few months if the fan gets a bit sticky, you can remove the cover with the 3 stainless steel screws and give it a deep clean with oven cleaner or hot soapy water and a cloth
- The cover itself can be submerged for a clean in hot soapy water and rubbed with a soft brush

As with any appliance, one has to use it frequently and get to know what works well for you. It does cut cooking time down significantly and the flavours are enhanced! Yes, I am enjoying my Airfryer and experimenting as I go!

Disappointing

I bought this item and returned it.
After Googling other reviews on-line, the issue I had was consistent with what other people have experienced.
My unit did not cook items crispy or done in less time.
In fact it would have been easier to use the oven and taken less time.
It's also a large unit and took up far too much space.
I did not need all the extra gadgets that came with it.
All I wanted was an airfryer that worked.
This appliance did not deliver.

What a winner! It seems impossible that chips could come out as crispy as they do without the use of deep oil, but they do! Love cooking chicken in here too as its just delicious. My absolute favourite kitchen aid.

As a student, this was the best investment I've made to date! I can honestly say that the FryAir has saved me both electricity and, more importantly, time. My mates come over on Fridays after our afternoon lectures and we cook a whole chicken from raw in 20 minutes (the tastiest chicken you'll ever have prepared in your kitchen)! Very disappointing

The FryAir does not perform as claimed. The base of pastry dishes remain uncooked while the top burns unless covered, even after experimenting with times and temperatures. Useless for steaming vegetables, but then that is not its primary function. If I had known how pathetic it is I would never have wasted my money on this product!

The Airfry is great but the instructions are very poor. Why do I have to ask other people how to wash the AIrfry? Surely the manufacturer should supply those details!! Lots of complaints about this on the internet and yet the manufacturer is not updating their booklet.

Have had far cheaper products grill a chicken better than the Airfryer.
Too small to do a chicken and potatoes simultaneously.
Prefer to use my George Foreman for chops, steak etc.

Bought this years ago and love it to bits BUT with frequent use and dishwashing the rack is now rusted and you cannot get a replacement rack. Rack is not made of stainless steel and is not dishwasher proof. My only criticism of an otherwise excellent product.

I was interested in an air fryer due to friends' recommendations and bought this model as it was on special. I am so happy I did, it's fantastic! I can't believe I have lived without one for so long. Meal times are halved, absolutely anything can be cooked in there, it saves on electricity and it is easy to clean. One rule I was told is to buy the biggest you can afford and this one is perfect for a family of 4. It can roast a chicken and veg with ample space left over. Only reason I did not give it a full 5 stars is that the lid has to be closed by releasing a switch which isn't obvious and I can see the switch ending up broken after the lid is forcibly closed a few times in error. We'd seen one of these fryers being demonstrated about a year ago at a show, but couldn't afford it at the time. We've now found one at Yuppie Chef and we love it - the fryer does everything it should; the accessories make it very versatile, and it is incredibly easy to use. I doubt whether I'll ever need my oven again unless I'm cooking in bulk.

The product works as expected , very good .
The recipe booklet can be more comprehensive .
Cooking time for whole chicken is proportional to the weight, the booklet says 230 degree's , definitely to high
Chips are as good as the type of potato , glassy potatoes are horrible

We were a bit skeptical about an Air Fryer but this has honestly made cooking so easy and so much quicker! We chose the FryAir because it’s the only air fryer that can fit a whole chicken rotisserie style. It cooks evenly and the chicken is so tender. If you prefer crispy chicken skin, just cook it for a bit longer.
Frozen food (fish fingers; nuggets; oven chips etc) is a breeze. Using the Reversible Rack allows you to cook the chips at the bottom and nuggets etc at the top.
We have also tried sausages (wors) and vegetarian frozen food, which was great.
The FryAir is easy to use, and the Instruction Manual is very clear and has cooking times/guidelines & Recipes.
Accessories (racks, trays and skewers etc) are dishwasher safe!

Already had an FryAir myself and have found it such a great piece of equipment I bought one for my son. He lives on his own so to have to put on a large oven to cook for one person is such a waste of electricity. The FryAir is so versatile I just roasted our Christmas gammon in mine. Can’t think how I managed without it.

The FryAir is simply amazing and I've never enjoyed cooking healthy this way.
One comment though is that the instructions are not very clear as to what and how - a simpler better more explanatory manual would be great - including tips.

Bought an convection oven 22 years ago. Thought it was an excellent buy. Recently purchased this FyAir 10L. This is a brilliant upgrade to my old oven. From steaks to chips or pot roast to fish, this is an absolute brilliant buy. Would recommend it to everybody. Don't need to be a chef to enjoy food from your own kitchen.

Firstly - the concept is amazing. This is now my third portable oven I have owned, so am totally committed to the concept. For a single person like myself, I use my stove’s big oven once in a blue moon, and cook so much in a portable oven.
Why three stars?
My prior portable oven was so much more customizable and accurate. You could set the temperature in increments of 5 degrees; the timer to the minute. This was massive as with this oven you have to estimate everything. At this price point, I should have more control.
User manual is iffy at best.
In the end, you can pick up a very similar product from Makro and the likes for a quarter of the price. I am not convinced the significant premium paid for this can be justified.

For the price paid I believe you can get a better product at a cheaper price. The disk within the FryAir started with the coating flacking off. Now the AirFry just stopped cooking while the timer is on. While the product worked it was good but I expected a better quality and I expected it to last longer. Long term, not worth buying this.

An excellent product that saves time, saves electricity costs and gives you a health meal. I like that it heats instantly and saves roasting time by 30-40%. Using no oil (or very little) means preparing a healthier meal is easy. The rotisserie and kebab skewer extras make this the best product by far.

This is the Second Airfryer that I have purchased, both FRY Air and identical. I would highly recommend it to anyone especially people that live by themselves. It is so easy to use, does not use as much electricity as a stove and very quick. This was the best Christmas gift I have received from my husband. It works so well and I use it daily especially in the morning to prepare our food for work. I have made whole chicken on numerous occasions and the end result is crispy and tender. I have used it also to prepare fishcakes; hamburger patties; etc. Best gift ever.
