The frost proof glass collection cone is easy to read, and if it gets dirty, you can pop it into the dishwasher. Gorgeous and practical? Eva Solo does it again.

Finally, finally found what I was looking for! No more perishing of plastic gauges due to UV-light, no more fading of the scale markers as this gauge has raised glass markers. In addition the gauge is solid with thick glass. I am sure it will last for years. Thank you, Eva Solo and Yuppiechef for stocking theses quality products!

Far more substantial than the photos suggest. Not as large a volume as a traditional plastic rain gauge but generous enough for most weather events and you empty it a little more often. Well made, easy to spike into the ground and the glass top is heavy and well seated enough to withstand high winds. Planted it where it won't break if it should fall but so far it's looking like it will withstand most winds. Highly recommend. Read more
