If you have to choose, go for the Silpat
The product does what it says; it provides a non-stick surface to bake bread on while still giving a beautiful bottom crust. However, the mesh-like structure allows oil through, so no buttery doughs like croissants - unless you want a full clean-up operation (which is difficult when you have an oily film in the fine holes in the mat - I'd rather just clean the baking tray).

The only baking mat you will ever need
It works! No dough sticks to it. Bread bakes perfectly at the bottom and the mat leaves a very nice texture on the dough contact area . It is not necessary to coat or dust the mat with anything, and even very wet dough does not present a problem. Get one, get a few, you won't regret it.

Everything crispy
You can now say cheers to every soggy item that has ever come out of your oven!
This mat works wonders on absolutely everything - pies, breads, cakes, oven chips, pizza bases, frozen foods, samoosas, anything!
Everything comes out evenly cooked and perfectly crispy.
The mat itself is easy to clean and rolls up for easy storage.
I would recommend this product to a friend.
