This Vacuum is perfect for my tiled kitchen and lounge. No need to find a plug point and is super easy to move around furniture.
Carpeted bedrooms, I was surprised at how much dust & hair is sucked up.

I've always detested vacuuming; either the handle was too short, the suction too weak, the head couldn't get under furniture, or the dust was in awkward to reach places. Oh, and the endless search for a plug that was close enough! This little number, however, has changed life. Light, elegant, high enough handle (no more backbreaking bending required), snorts up the dust like a champion and is soooo easy to store, handle, clean - everything. And the regular emptying of the dust container is no sweat. In fact, I suspect it is healthier by far than other vacuum cleaners that tend to bottle up the gunk, and then blowing out clouds of unmentionables when you use it again. Bought this as a gift for my parents, going to relay the information they have provided for a review:
- The light is great at the front, shows dust and dust particles.
- The suction is good enough to pick up sand and dog hair. My parents stay close to the beach and the dogs bring the outside inside, this vacuum perfectly combats that.
The ONLY criticism my dad has is he would love an “elephant trunk” style fitting for the hand-held part of the vacuum to get into tight corners, which he finds he struggles a bit to do as it is now. Read more

This is not only a good looking vacuum cleaner but it is so easy to use. No more sore backs from bending over and those small spills can be cleaned up with the handheld vacuum which is a brilliant extra.

This vacuum has been so so wonderful. With a teenager who messes without noticing, a 9 month old who crawls and puts everything in her mouth and autumn leaves absolutely everywhere - I used to spend my life walking around picking things up off the floor and sweeping. Now I do none of that. The teen LOVES the vacuum, so she is now constantly cleaning up after everyone else. It's great for getting in the corners, under the couch cushions and quickly cleaning the floor. The light in front highlights all the tiny bits of dust and debris. Too much love for this product. I chose this vacuum cleaner because it looked compact and it is! It fits neatly into a cupboard and doesn't take up much space. The dual function of hand-held and upright works well; and it has a strong enough suction for my carpets and floors at home. I find it easy to fold down the handle and detach and clean the bagless compartment. The charger is also small and easy to use and pack away.

Lifesaver! Lightweight and easy to use. Great suction power and easy to clean. It does exactly what it promises to do.
Might not be ideal for very big houses or for heavy duty daily cleaning (only 30min at a time on the battery power), but works perfectly for my needs. Would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to operate, light to carry around and works well - also straightforward to assemble and disassemble to clean.
The only part that I am worried about being strong is the clip underneath that holds the brushes in place but will see with use if it holds well.

I love this product. It is so handy and looks amazing. The power was a surprise. This is not a big powerful vacuum, but a very handy quite strong vacuum that I would recommend for anyone. I use it on my tile floors and for carpet. Loving it!

This is a powerful little vacuum. Basically a handheld vacuum in a longer form. Easily detachable to use the handheld one on its own. We use it to clean our hardwood floors and works like a dream. Swivel head and a light on the head makes it easy to manoeuvre. Don't think it would work for large spaces, as it is battery operated. We use it in our apartment and can clean it in one charge.

Absolute pleasure not to have to lug a heavy vacuum cleaner up and down the stairs. Has detachable hand held vacuum for cleaning furniture and corners. Has a strong suction that it sucks in the edges of the carpets. Battery power lasts long enough to vacuum a large house. Would definitely recommend this product.

Had to wait a long time for delivery due to Covid retrictions but certainly worth it. Lightweight, easy to use and suction excellent. Sweeps floors and vacuums carpets. The machine uses very small storage space and is perfect for the elderly or a single person or a couple living in a flat . The removable hand vacuum is a great bonus.

I love this vacuum. So much easier to clean up without worrying about finding a plug point for it in every room and the handheld vacuum really helps with smaller areas. Plus, the LED light is a must and lets you see all the bits you might have missed.

This vacuum is certainly very light and easy to work with, charging and cleaning it is straight forward and easy. It's also really handy having the whole thing wireless, with the pop-out handheld mini being ideal for cars. The only downside is that it doesn't have as much power as it could, so you often have to go over the same area a few times.

For people living in small spaces where there is not much storage space this is the ideal vacuum. It folds down to half size and fits neatly in my broom cupboard. Just remember to recharge after use and its ready for the next time. Happy customer. Thanks Yuppiechef.

Stylish and convenient

This stylish vacuum cleaner has some major advantages: it's cordless and bagless. For me, that means I'm using it way more often than my heavy old vacuum, as I don't have to drag it from room to room, plugging and unplugging, and I don't run out of bags! It's also really light, folds up neatly for storage and recharges quite fast. It's perfect for a small place, probably not as well suited for a bigger flat or a house, as it would run out of charge and the dust container isn't very big. On the negative side, emptying the dust container is a bit of a nuisance (I'm still working on a way not to land up with quite a lot of dust in the air!) and cleaning the brush isn't easy. The jury is out on how well it will last — possibly the downside of such a light machine. PS I still have to try the feature of detaching a section and using it as a car vacuum. Read more

An affordable and good quality vacuum cleaner that gets the job done on carpets and floors. I like that it doesn't take up too much space and can be used as a handheld or regular cleaner. The LED lights ensure that you get rid of the small dirt particles. The battery lasts long.

I was really excited about this product, I even asked for it for my birthday. The first time that I got it from Yuppiechef it worked well for the first two days until the LED lights started glitching every now and then, that was fine, I could deal with that but then the vacuum literally started spitting out dirt as I would vacuum. I requested for the product to be replaced as I thought that perhaps I had just received a faulty vacuum, the next one arrived and true as bob the exact same set of events occurred. You are better off sweeping your house to get it clean than using the Defy 2-in-1. The handheld vacuum is cool, it is just too bad that the product as a whole does not have any consistency and completely defeats its objective. Read more

This vacuum is lightweight and SO clever. The fact that it's cordless makes using it an absolute pleasure to use. It swivels effortlessly and gets right under the furniture!
I LOVE the LED lights. You can see the dirt as you go forward and then as you retract, you can see that it's gone! It copes with pet fur with ease and holds a large volume in its bin. The bin section is also very easy to clean.
The battery lasts long enough for me to complete a full vacuum of my 4 bedroom house with power to spare.
Clipping off the hand vacuum for higher places is quick and easy. You can charge it at the plug point as is, with the handle in storage mode, or even take it out as a hand vacuum and charge it on the counter. Vacuuming is actually enjoyable. Read more
