Care instructions
Seasoning:
- Prepare your frying pan by cleaning with very hot water, then dry it thoroughly
- Pour one centimeter of cooking oil into the pan, and wipe it around. Then heat it on the stove on a medium-high temperature for about 5 minutes
- Throw away the oil and wipe your pan with paper towels
- The more the pan is used, the better the performance; the darker it becomes the better it is for natural nonstick properties
Use:
- Heat a small amount of oil or fat in the frying pan, and once the pan is good and hot, seal the food about 45 seconds on each side before reducing the heat to complete cooking
- Do not leave the meals in the pan after cooking, as the residual heat will carry on cooking your food
Cleaning after use:
- Wash the frying pan with very hot water and a sponge, and wipe dry
- From time to time, purify the pan by heating up cooking salt over a high heat for about 1.5 minutes, then wipe with a kitchen paper. The salt helps to suppress the residues and the odours from previous cookings
- To store, wipe oil over the surface with a paper towel and put away in a dry place
- Do not leave your pan to soak. If food sticks to the pan, use a green sponge to scrub it off, and re-season the area
- Never put the pan in a dishwasher. The pan may rust if these conditions are not respected. Just scrub the pan with a hard brush to remove the rust, and season from scratch

If you've grown tired of grey steaks and watery bacon cooked (boiled, actually) in non-stick pans, then this is the way to go. Finally you will own a pan that you can get properly hot. This is the best pan I have ever used. After many years of use/abuse my old non-stick coated pan was no longer so non-stick any more. After a bit of research I came to conclusion that this pan was the way to go. After a bit of seasoning NOTHING sticks to this and if looked after, I will be handing this down to my son. I bought the 32cm pan, excellent build quality and steel thickness like the other Mineral Bs I own. It has a "helper handle" riveted to the pan, which helps when picking it up. It weighs as much as a similar sized cast iron pan so it is a heavy beast:) Being so large it does tend to have a "hot spot" in the middle of the pan when cooking.

Its heavy, but i don't mind that and it is not a pan for lazy people as you have to clean and dry it immediately. Seasoning of the pan is not an issue and it cooks steaks beautifully. I have even made an omelet and it does not stick. I am thinking of buying more pots in that range.

This is the pan I have been looking for for so long. I never really liked the idea of “non-stick” pans and this product has solved my concerns. It takes a little bit more care in the wash but the weight, solidity and heating capacity is what turns food into something special. It might need regular seasoning but you won’t regret purchasing it.

This is a solid well-engineered pan that distributes heat evenly, after seasoning, the pan is completely non-stick.

I cannot see where I went wrong as I lovingly seasoned the pan etc, but clearly it wanted even more TLC from me as it rusted so badly in a couple weeks of unpacking... we live at the beach so perhaps it was just the close proximity...

I was surprised when I opened the box, the product and photo differs tremendously. I suggest you place a photo that resembles the product. The pan for example has another handle in front, which your photo did not indicate, I was very dissapointed when I saw it. I believe it is a good product, but totally misrepresented in the photo.
