As soon as he saw this in the catalogue my hubby had to have them, he grew up on roasted chestnuts and always has a hankering for them. Unfortunately they didn't last to be used in cooking as once opened he took a few every time he passed the fridge. Delicious.

These chestnuts are absolutely wonderful. We don't always get them fresh in Johannesburg. It must be the steaming process because all the taste of the chestnut remains in them and they are soft and yummy!!

Reminds me of eating hot chestnuts in Europe in the winter. These are pretty good but cold. I use them in baking or just picked out of the jar as a snack. Addictive.

Love these chestnuts use them in my Brussels sprouts, bacon and chestnut dish. For years I had to get my brother to bring me chestnuts from the UK until i found these available here. I buy 3 bottles at a time and freeze the chestnuts.

Just could not stop eating them. I find they taste even better if you heat several of them up in the microwave for about 30 seconds. Also great service from Yuppiechef, as usual.

I remember eating chestnuts as a child and when I saw these, I had to buy. They didn't disappoint. I just pick them out the bottle but you can also add them to stuffing for your turkey/chicken for Xmas. I think I enjoy them because they aren't in any sauce or brine and you really get the taste of the chestnut
