We have been looking for placemats. Finally, we saw this set - the round shape works well with our long rectangular dining table. The material looks and feels wonderful against the backdrop of the natural wood table. We didn't want something with a kitsch pattern we'd grow tired of in a few months, nor made out of antiquated cushioned material. Double thumbs up to this.
