Haven't made it ourselves YET.... but have had it with friends and it was "melt in the mouth" delicious and so easy and quick! That's what prompted me to order the breads. The service from the time I ordered (late afternoon on a Friday) to delivery (09h00 Tuesday) was amazing and so professional. Thank you.

This beer bread kit is wonderful. Such a luxury.

The beer bread was easy to make, quick and smelt delicious. It yields a substantial loaf that is filling and different. Would make a great gift, token or tea-party savoury.

Can't wait to try it again.

Lots of flavour, great alone or freshly buttered.
Not sure what else you could eat with it though - maybe a mild cheese or some gravy...

It burns...

This bread, although very quick and easy to bake, is just too hot... and I do like chilli. The heat overpowers any other flavour that it might have (garlic? there's garlic flavour in there? O_O) and after one slice, I didn't feel like eating any more and left the rest for my husband. Maybe I just don't like my bread hot... it's a weird taste for me.

This is a great tasting bread. If you love chilli and just a hint of a bite in your bread, you will love this. Not much taste of the garlic, but still a lekker bread - best eaten warm with a generous helping of butter. Incredibly easy to prepare. What a winner at the braai...

Used a bottle of craft beer (from Yuppiechef of course). Added in some chopped tomato and onions and black pepper. 45 Minutes later it was ready to eat. It was finished that day :)

Just as good as the original but with a subtle kick of chili and a gentle garlic finish.

Goes along nicely with Erdinger Non-Alcoholic beer.

I bought this mix along with a few other flavours and baked for a braai on New Year's Eve - it was a hit! It tasted exactly like I imagined, a definite favourite. I used 20ml more beer than the recipe required but it baked out beautifully and was moist and fluffy. Can't wait to bake the next bag!

I’ve bought a few of the Barrets Ridge beer bread kits and it never disappoints. It is so quick and easy to make and it’s impossible to flop.
