Swissline 200W Hand Blender

Just recently received mine after rave reviews from my mum who has had hers for years. Love it! Whipping cream is like a dream and making fine almond powder for my macaron making has now become so much easier.

This is the only blender I have found that can withstand the rigors of a industrial chemical laboratory where emulsions are tested.

Awesomeness on a Stick

I had initially seen this product at Decorex in 2014 and was blow away when I saw the demos at the show. Have always wanted to own a Bamix.
It's super powerful and makes awesome thick smoothies from fat free milk and that's not all.

A MUST OWN!

I have owned a Bamix for a seven years. I have owned other "brand" makes which packed up after a short while. The bamix has given zero problems and is used at least two times a day, it is without doubt the best mixer on the market.

It does a great job, but the top is heave so it doesn't stand on its own. The other downside is that you have to rinse it under a tap to prevent the motor from getting wet. After idolizing the Bamix because my Mom had it in her kitchen, I still prefer my other mixer instead.

This is the Rolls Royce of stick blenders. Don't waste your time with cheaper models. I did that before and eventually I realised this was something you can't even compare in terms of quality and build. Good long term investment. I use it to chop onions, tomatoes, herbs, spices, whip cream, smooth my soup & dhall. I even make my tsatsiki with it. Bamix for life!

Problem 1: This blender is definitely underpowered. It takes very long to blend a nut smoothie, and the end result is not nearly as smooth as say, an 800W blender.
Problem 2: At the price, I was expecting much more. It's quite a disappointment.

The Bamix is very efficient at chopping cheeses and nuts, blending together pestos, liquidising frozen bananas for smoothies or turning sugar into caster or icing sugar.

In fact it has replaced a few appliances in my life and frequently sees use.

It is quick and easy to clean and has made my kitchen tasks a whiz.

I have had a bamix for 18 years and it got stolen. It was the best tool in my kitchen, I almost used it on a daily basis. Will recommend it as a must-have in each kitchen!!

Good overall hand blender. It’s very powerful and has a very functional design. However it doesn’t purée soups and dips very well. It leaves it chunky and not very smooth. But besides that it’s a great buy that would last a lifetime.

I love my blender. So much so that during lockdown, I went to retrieve the blender that blitzes ginger and garlic weekly for the perfect texture for curry paste. Oh how much lockdown made me miss it. It's been with me through 5 different places of living. It had to be serviced once (my fault) but good as new, and no maintenance ever needed again. It seems pricy, but I saved up for it, and it's still one of the tools that has made me happiest :) Read more

Adore my Bamix which I use on a daily basis.
So quick and easy to clean. A MUST HAVE, in every kitchen!
Unfortunately my wet and dry mill had a crack in which I only noticed after the first time I used it. This has progressively got worse! Bought it in East London at the Home Expo and have no contact details of where and how to get this sorted out.

The Bamix was pricey, but I decided to buy it anyway on a family recommendation. Only had it for a week or two, but we have used it many times and it is everything I hoped it would be. Great at chopping and blending. We made a cake this morning and quickly blended up the ingredients. Very happy with my purchase.
