Luigi Bormioli Mixology Spanish Gin & Tonic Glasses, Set of 4
- R799
Infused with fynbos from the mountainous terrain of the Cape floral kingdom, Inverroche Verdant Gin is floral and soft with a translucent golden-green hue. Delicate aromas reminiscent of elderflower and chamomile, lead to summer blooms, a touch of spice, subtle juniper, waxy lemon rind and alluring liquorice on the palate.
The classic way to enjoy this aromatic gin.
Fresh, figgy and sophisticated.
To prepare the watermelon juice, slice a small to medium watermelon in half. Using a big spoon, scoop chunks of sweet watermelon into a blender. Discard the rind. Blend the watermelon until it is totally pulverised — this shouldn’t take more than a minute. For extra flavour, squeeze the juice of one small lime into the blender and blend for a few seconds longer. If your watermelon is notably pulpy or seeded, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a pitcher. If not, you can pour it directly into your cocktail shaker or glasses filled with ice. Watermelon juice will keep in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 4 days. The juice will separate over time; stir it with a spoon to recombine.
An eye-catching thirst-quencher named after Magnanimous Meg — the copper potstill in which Inverroche gins are distilled.
To prepare the charcoal-infused Inverroche Verdant, all you will need is a charcoal capsule and the Verdant Gin. Take 1 charcoal capsule and empty it out into the liquid, stir for a few seconds and use in your cocktail.
A warm, nutty way to enjoy this gin.
