Founded in 1984 as Aerobie, Inc. by inventor and retired Stanford University engineering instructor Alan Adler they manufactured high-performance sports toys initially. Then, in 2004, Alan began studying the brewing process with a simple goal in mind: brew a superior cup of coffee. The AeroPress Original debuted to critical acclaim in 2005 and is now sold in over 60 countries. In 2017 they sold the Aerobie sport toy line and became AeroPress, Inc.

These are not genuine Aeropress filters, but because they're slightly larger than the originals, they actually improve sealing around the edges and prevent spills when using the inverting method.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Very happy with the filters. They're slightly larger (a millimeter or two) so they bend a tiny bit, but doesn't affect the AeroPress' operation. Will buy them again.

These filters do the job, but not as well as the original filters that came with my aeropress when I bought it. They are very thin and tend to stick together in the pile, making it difficult to take just one off the top. Many of the filters are also a minute fraction too large, which means they don't fit as snugly into the filter cap as the originals do.

They are simple to use and easy to clean. I thought the tiny filters would be annoying to use but they are actually quite stiff which makes them stay put. You can also reuse the filters quite easily and it doesn't affect the taste of the coffee at all.

Bleached paper filters are safer than unbleached filters. A minimal amount of bleach is used and will have a far lesser effect on one's health than using unbleached filters. All filters should be rinsed with a little hot water just before use, which will wash away any residues left in the filter.

These are the standard filters for the Aeropress coffee machine. My husband is a true coffee connoisseur, and in his opinion the Aeropress makes the best coffee out of all the home coffee makers. It doesn't have the jooshy wow-factor of some of the electrical brands, but the end result is sublime.
